Grid-EYE is a high precision, infrared array sensor based on advanced MEMS technology, featuring 64 thermopile elements in an 8 x 8 grid format. Combining a built-in thermistor and an integrated circuit makes temperature measurement possible in a small surface mount package. The integrated circuit performs selected calculations that allows mapping of specific temperature data as a thermal image. Grid-EYE can detect changes in temperature within a field of view of 60°, horizontally and vertically. |
